Creating Featured Events for My College, School, or Unit?

Featured events are events that you would like to give a prime spot on your calendar homepage or channels in the Featured Events Carousel to receive some extra attention.


To make an event for your college, school, or unit, log into Localist, go into the Administrator Menu, go to "Live Events," do a search for your event, open the event in question, and scroll to the bottom of the page until you find PROMOTION > FEATURED EVENTS.



Click on the dropdown menu and select which calendar you want your event to be featured on. Then SAVE your event.

If you do not see your area listed, send in a ticket to us at https://gsu.uservoice.com/ and we can add your calendar to the featured list.

DO NOT select "Featured Events" as your option. This is to be used for the Georgia State Calendar Homepage only. We have a team who maintains that section. If you add your event to the "Featured Events" calendar, it will be removed.
