  1. Move the feedback button away from the scoll-down button

Where the feedback button is placed makes it difficult to maneuver through the site.

  3. Adding links on homepage

I would like to get information for the different campus directly from the home page such as the alpharetta campus or the sandy springs campus. I am still looking for it but can't find it anywhere.

  4. Have an option to place social media icons directly above or below a post.

The current lower right corner toolbar placement is too obscure. Most blogs have social sharing and email icons located close to the post. Having icons in a visible and familiar spot could increase our visibility through social media sharing.

  5. Add more specific attributes to the hero box shortcode in wordpress

I've noticed that the Carousel shortcode allows you to get specific text box alignments (e.g "bottomright," "topleft") .

Hero boxes only allow left, right, none alignments, we cannot control vertical alignments at all. Could we please get the ability to specify?

  6. Profile template - please make 'biography' label conditional-display.

On the profile page template, most content fields only display their label if there is data for that field, but biography shows no matter what. Biography will be an unused field for our department, replaced by research interests (more relevant for our faculty). If possible in the next iteration of the profile template (which I'm told will have research interests added) could the biography label be made to work like the other field labels (hidden if there is no field content to display)?

  7. Directory page requests.

I know the directory is an ongoing project, but just as a 'wish list' request - could we reduce the size of the left menu (currently 33%, seems like a lot of wasted space that could be used to display directory data) to 25% or 10%? Also, a face thumbnail theme is the most requested feature among my faculty/chair/etc, and more immediately useful data (email and office#) on the directory page would be very much appreciated, so students can find/contact a professor immediately without drilling down.

  9. update print template not to print URLs.

We have had numerous complaints from faculty and students re: the print template showing URLs that obscure the main content. Is it possible to develop a new template without the URLs or that places the URLs at the bottom of the page or somewhere else out of the way?

  10. Keep up the good work

As an incoming Freshman's parent, I am thrilled to see you communicate and praise your staff and students. I know we have made the right decision on where to send our son for Fall 2014.

Thank you for all you do,
    Susan Martin

  14. For the Core requirements, have a direct link for freshman and sophomore core requirements under the nutrition program .

It took me an hour to find the 60 credit hour core requirements for freshman and sophomore for entry to the Nutrition program. Other than that, the new layout looks amazing.

Thank you for your feedback. We added a link directly to the B.S. degree requirements in the catalog labeled “Freshmen and Sophomore Degree Requirements.” I hope that this solves the issue you reported.

  15. Correct a Link Location

Both the "EyeMed Vision Plan" and "Tobacco Use Communication" links go to the same .pdf @employees.hr.gsu.edu/wp-content/blogs.dir/107/files/2013/10/EyeMed2014(dot)pdf.

I'm looking to avoid that $50 surcharge, and I want to get as much information on the "Tobacco Use Communication" as possible. Thanks.

  16. make the 'commkit.gsu link on the GSU map the PRIMARY map, as opposed to requiring outsiders guess at clicking the icon in the top right cor

When a user-- including GSU students, faculty, and staff-- clicks 'map' on the GSU web page they are taken to a page that does not initially identify all of the buildings by name. It is only on enlarging the page that this happens. The 'commkit.gsu...' link has a list of building names and their relative locations more easily identifiable, and I believe it would be more useful to have that page as the initial 'campus map' url

  18. For the Campus Interactive Map

The street outside of One Park Place is misidentified as Pryor St rather than Park Place. Pryor St changes to Park Place after crossing Decatur St from the south.

  19. Change the type font used for articles

When reading articles on the GSU website the type is visually weak, even after increasing the size. Try Times Roman or some type with a thicker stroke.

  20. Make webpage less "reactive"

Hey, for those of us who access the webpage on a traditional computer with a mouse, the new webpage design has an irritating feature: the screen is constantly shifting as you move your mouse across the screen to the link/icon where you want to click. Many icons and pictures respond automatically to the mouse simply scrolling over. This makes reaching the link you want a challenge as pictures rise, text expands, etc. and you lose track of where you were going. This works fine (or at least somewhat better) on a iPad or other tablet since you only touch the…
