Make webpage less "reactive"
Hey, for those of us who access the webpage on a traditional computer with a mouse, the new webpage design has an irritating feature: the screen is constantly shifting as you move your mouse across the screen to the link/icon where you want to click. Many icons and pictures respond automatically to the mouse simply scrolling over. This makes reaching the link you want a challenge as pictures rise, text expands, etc. and you lose track of where you were going. This works fine (or at least somewhat better) on a iPad or other tablet since you only touch the link you need. If you can fix this, it would be much appreciated!
Also, for us old fogeys, while the graphics are gorgeous, the front page is just too busy. I actually like a relatively static page (albeit a well designed one) where I can absorb the information without everything constantly shifting around. My favorite page is the NYT front page. Thanks
Thanks for the feedback. We’ve transitioned to a straight forward approach without as many reactive elements.
