Adding all calendar feeds to calendar.gsu.edu
We think that all the university calendar categories should be available on the Attend an Event link - from here: http://calendar.gsu.edu/calendar/EventList.aspx?fromdate=10/27/2015&todate=11/9/2015&view=DateTime. Or there should a link to the complete calendar and it should be clear that the Attend an Event/Event Highlights calendar is not the full calendar.
People who are not familiar with the university calendar will think they are getting the full calendar when they visit the Attend an Event link, but they're not, and there's no link to take them to a full list.
1 voteThe calendar has been updated with multiple options to sort, and subscribe.

change the GSU home page appearance
The contents on the homepage are moving too fast. The web page is not displaying the desired message in a readable way for the visitor to browse through the different contents.

keep improving search options
The new search result page is Sooo much better than before. It highlights what you are looking for and seems to automatically search RELEVANT gsu sites with that information.. unlike before where the search would find your keyword in any and all GSU docs. Thanks!

get the side menu off the website.
It's an eyesore and obscures the view.
1 voteThe latest theme removes this menu in places where it doesn’t add any value.

Affix a legend to the map link.
Blue building-shaped indicators are insufficient information for someone unacquainted with the campus and its properties. A grid with legend accompanied the former campus map. The current presentation is not particularly helpful to non-GSU members of the public.
2 votesWe took this input and used it to plan for a better mapping tool. The new campus map makes it easier to filter and find items on all of the campuses.

Continue to have great employees like Mr. Tony in financial aid
Mr. Tony explained very well the complicated subject of financial aid without technology (it failed him) but we got a clear understanding that early start to the process and GSU support this part of enrollment is not hard... Thanks Mr. Tony!!!
1 voteThanks for the awesome feedback. We’re happy Mr. Tony is here with us.

Directory
Why doesn't the campus directory provide e-mail addresses for everyone now, particularly students? I teach a defensive driving class that students attend and I need to e-mail information to them, but I can't find addresses for most online. Unless they've e-mailed me to register, I can't send them information (some register by phone). We (staff) were able to view this information at one time. What's changed?
1 voteKevin,
In the top, right hand corner of the website, there is a GSU directory of every single faculty, staff and student (unless they are new or opted out of the directory). Our directory has an image of the person and their GSU email address.
However, in order to access this information, you must be a current student or employee of Georgia State University.
Thank you for submitting this suggestion to our office.

slow the scroll of stories on "What Others Say About GSU"
Stories scroll so fast you can't possibly read the short paragraph before it moves on. It made me dizzy.
1 voteWe have slowed the scroll a bit. There are some other constrains with the scroll what makes it hard to slow them more. We have added a feature that when a mouse is over the scroll it stops.
Thanks,
Cody

put a link to the W-2 somewhere people can ******* find it
I've spent maybe 45 minutes wandering from site to site trying to find a link to a downloadable PDF of my W-2, because I lost my paper copy. I can't find that anywhere. It's not in PAWS, it's not here (as far as I can see), it's ******* nowhere.
Let me give you a basic course in website design: organize your web-site according to what users will want, not by how your department is organized. Identify the resources that your users are likely to want, and put links to those resources right on the front page, even if that results…5 votesThanks for the feedback. A direct link is available under the “Human Resources” options on the “Faculty/Staff” menu at the top of the page. Good idea to make this more visible.
