Advanced Publishing Options (Drafts, Schedules)

When a page or post is completed, it can be published to become a visible part of your website. However, there are other options to save a page and publish it later.

A) Clicking on Edit next to “Status” allows content to be saved:

  • as a Draft for finishing at a later time
  • as Pending for others to look at before publishing

B) Clicking on Edit next to “Visibility” allows:

  • Content to be Password Protected – NOTE: As a University, we do not use Password-protected web pages. Secure information (such as personal identifying information, etc.) needs to be hosted by the HELP desk. You can contact them by emailing help@gsu.edu.
C) Clicking on Edit next to “Publish” allows:
  • Content to be automatically published at a later date and time. Don't forget to check and confirm the page was published to the site.
